Julie and Julia Review- The Official Bright Line Eating Cookbook

Did you ever see the movie Julie and Julia? It is where a New York writer decides to cook her way through Julia Child’s “Mastering The Art Of French Cooking” and blogs about it. Well, I decided I needed a project to keep me close to “The Mothership” and so that is what I am going to do… BLE style. I will cook my way through Dr. Susan Peirce Thompsons, “The Official Bright Line Eating Cookbook”, provide the highlights, pit falls, best practices and “kids react” view of each recipe. My hope is that it helps you get ideas and inspiration for working your program. Either way, I am pretty excited. I thought I needed a way to stay engaged with the community now that I am bumping along in maintenance and this is it. So please feel free to follow along and let me know your thoughts!

*Disclaimer: I won’t be posting the recipe in these reviews. I don’t want to find myself in any sort of copy right trouble, so if you want to see the step by step instructions, please buy the book and you can try the recipes for yourself. I also want to thank all of the individuals who contributed to The Official Bright Line Eating Cookbook. Becoming a Bright Line Eater required me to change everything about the way I think about cooking for myself and my family, from what constitutes a meal to how things are measured. If it weren’t for your guidance and the endless resources made available to new followers of this plan, I don’t know that I would have found my way to my Bright Sized Body. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
